Runes are essential for upgrading characters at higher tiers and work as the core character development mechanic, compared to equipment. As a result, runes naturally hold more value than equipment. &#x20;

Runes are equipped on characters in the same way as equipment. Applying runes from the same "set" on multiple slots unlocks additional special set-attributes. It will be essential for players to upgrade and strategize on rune equipment for the right bonuses to stay ahead of other players in various competitive contents. &#x20;
